A massive magnitude 8.8 earthquake rocked Chile early Saturday, killing at least 82 people and triggering tsunami warnings for the entire Pacific basin. 8.8 magnitude earthquake is 1000 times the Haiti earthquake.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center issued a tsunami warning, the highest level of a tsunami alert, for the entire Pacific region, including Hawaii, South America, Hawaii, Australia and New Zealand, Japan, the Philippines, Russia and many Pacific islands.
